II Chronicles 7:14

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Okay...Fake for me. I used to be a REAL tree kind of girl but then we spent $4000 putting new carpet in this house and we had a real tree that year too and when we took the tree down, some of the water spilled on the carpet. There were also a ton of needles that needed to be vaccumed up...so my husband (against my warning) vaccummed up the needles and the water and oh my...because they spray those real trees with green spray to make them look better, that combined with the water, made a HUGE green stain on my brand new expensive carpet!!!! I cried and scrubbed and cried and scrubbed and finally got the stain out...and said never again. Now I have a nice fake tree that I got on a 90% clearance at Target and I love it...no watering...no mess. I'm a fake girl all the way now! Ha!

Fake - it's a hand me down from DH's brother and his wife. We've actually never seen what it looks like - it's still in the box. Hopefully when we put it up this weekend it won't look like Charlis Brown's. And to not have to vaccuum up needles and keep watering like I did at my parents house all those years - it's a good thing :)

A two foot fiberoptic tree that spins around. Yep, that's it!

Both. We have "Tree Day" each year where we go cut down a tree as a family, watch old christmas movies, and put all the decorations up for the season. We have an artificial tree that we put up in the basement that is our "kid" tree and the real tree is the mom approved decorated on upstairs.

This year in the rental - I don't know what we are going to do. Our 1-year-old will likely undecorate it anyways...

If you get a good base that you can keep lots of water in - a real tree isn't that much work.

for the record...we go fake all the way. We do 2 trees...one upstairs and one down. The one downstairs is more decorative and the one upstairs is more fun. I've always wanted to try a real tree...but after Logzie's story...I don't know! ha ha..plus, I just can't see spending money on something I am just gonna throw away in a month anyway. How wasteful!

We do fake. With our allergies it is better to not have a real tree in the house. :) Figured that out the hard way...the first few years we did real...I couldn't stand it...the sneezing and cleaning up needles constantly and watering it...to much work and snot! haha

We do real. Love the real tree. Mmmm the smell! $20 for just the right size tree for our living room, plus a $5 gift card to the store - usually for candy canes and a fun ornament :)
