Brooklyn turned six today...and what a FuN dAy it was! I went up to her Kindergarten class today and brought cupcakes for her whole class. Then we went and had lunch at On The Border with Matt and Grant and my dad. After that we went and had her pictures taken. Then we ran to see my friend Teya, whose birthday was also today, and take her a little gift. Then we went to The Incredible Pizza Co. for dinner/games. Whew! What a busy day! I hope she had fun. I am feeling worse and worse every day despite being on these antibiotics. It is only a 5-day treatment I am on and tomorrow will be my 4th day. If I am not feeling any better tomorrow, I guess I'll call the dr. and see if that is normal or if I might need something stronger. I am wanting to be all better by Brooklyn's party on Saturday...but then with the crazy weather we are expecting...that might have to be cancelled anyway. I guess only time will tell. I know this was a short, to-the-point post..but I am so miserably stuffy and achy and sore...I just want to go to bed--but I had to at least tell my sweet girl Happy Birthday on her big day! Lots of pictures to come....

It sucks to be sick! The first time I got strep was on Logan's birthday...easy to remember I guess.
Hang in there Jen...I am praying for you to get better soon.
I will also be praying for ya'll...with this ice storm hitting. It sounds like it is going to be a bad one. They are warning people about ice on the power lines, they may be without power. It made me think of Matt, and that he may have to work a lot of overtime with all of this. Ya'll just be careful!
Love ya girl,
Kandy
