Brooklyn's been asking to get a hair cut for a couple of months now, ever since our neighbor's grand-daughter (one of her best friends) did it. I've been hesitant because I LOVE her long, curly locks. However, I woke up on the impulsive side today and that coupled with the fact that it takes a ton of shampoo and conditioner to wash her hair AND it's a nightmare to brush out....made me ready to take the plunge. I called my hairdresser (whose always booked up over a month) and said "I know this is crazy to even ask, but is there ANY way you could cut Brooklyn's hair today?" And she said "Actually yes!! I just had a lady cancel and I am just sitting here doing nothing for an hour." I thought it must have been fate!
I cringed and almost cried when I saw her make the first cut since the very bottom layer is only about 2 inches long---but as she completed the cut, I could see it was going to be VERY cute and summery and WAY less work!!
Here are the before and after pics:

Adorable! And so stylish :)
She's adorable!
It is really cute! I'm next taking the plunge tomorrow.
I love it!!! I need to do the same.
Super Adorable!! I cringe when I need to comb Kenzie's hair and it's only as long as Brooklyn's is NOW! I can only imagine how hard that must have been. I remember that as a child too...no fun.
I just got mine short again...I tried so hard to keep it long but my hair is way too naturally wavy...It was so much work to either curl it or straighten it. I'm back to my same ole hair cut that I've had for years oh and yah...a bad dye job to go with it! Ha!
ADORABLE! I think she looks lovely!
