II Chronicles 7:14

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Wisdom Nugget #329
Your worth doesn't come from how beautiful you are, how talented you are, how succesful you are or how wealthy you are. The worth or value of something is determined by how much someone is willing to pay for it.
Jesus gave his LIFE for you, the ultimate price.
Your worth and your value comes from what was paid for you!

Think of a painting that--to you--is useless and ugly--but to a certain person (who understands the value of it because they know who created it)--it is priceLESS! People pay millions for paintings, that to the untrained eye, are nothing more than splatters on a canvas.

RECOGNIZE who YOUR creator is!

Don't look to people to validate your worth or your value. Look to your creator and remember the price that was paid!!!

SO true!! What's funny is that as I read your post, I thought of the artwork that covers so many refrigerators. To the world, it's worthless...but to a mother, it's priceless!!

Then I realized, you were talking about MAJOR artwork, ha ha!! I guess the same principle applies!!!
