I LOVE summer...but this cooler weather has me all giddy inside!! I am enjoying wearing long sleeves and light jackets and JEANS and my soft, comfy robe! Right now I have on my softest, fuzziest slippers, my comfiest pajama pants, my new 3/4 length sleeve apricot babydoll night gown from Victoria Secret and my hot pink furry VS robe and I feel like a big cloud puff, I think. It's delicious! I am also liking sipping on warm soup (see my P90x blog for recipe!) and cuddling on the couch by hubby and kiddos with cushy down-filled blankets!
I don't think I've EVER looked forward to fall quite like I am this year! That's very unusual for me...usually Summer is the ONLY season I ever look forward to...well and maybe Spring because it is the appetizer for Summer!
Anyway, anyone else with me on this? All this cool air, comfy, warm clothes and cuddling...it's just plain YUMMY!

I never want Summer to end, but I have been enjoying this cooler weather...especially since my A/C isn't running as often! Woo-Hoo!!! So I do enjoy fall when you can open up the house, and enjoy the days...but I hate winter, when it's cold and icky and miserable. YUK! I'm not looking forward to that!
I am with you on this one Jen. When I lived in OK, I lived for summer. But now that we're here in the Shenandoah valley, I've fallen in love with FALL! Talk about beautiful! Jason and I both used to say summer was our favorite month. Now we're amazed at the beautiful scenery around us when the leaves start to change. It is absolutely breathtaking. It amazes me to see how beautifully God paints our landscape here in the fall.
We pick our own pumpkins from the patch and this year we'll pick our own apples from the orchard. We go on hayrides and have fun in the corn maze. I make apple butter and lots of soup.

I always try to get people to come visit us year round but especially in the fall! It's so beautiful!
Like you, I always looked forward to Summer! But this year and last I am really excited for Fall. I love being able to open the windows, let the fresh air in, run w/ out all of the humidity, light my fall candles and enjoy a warm chai latte every night. Plus, I love Fall TV - ha! I told the women at work how I'm looking forward to the fall and they said that means I'm getting old! Boo! No it doesn't! It just means I'm looking forward to Fall - geesh! It's not like I'm loving on all of the blistering cold and wind we get every winter. Thumbs down on that.

Fall always has been and always will be my favorite time of year. I love the crispness in the air, the changing of the leaves, the campfires, my comfy well-worn jeans, apples, pumpkins, and OSU football!!
We definitely don't have even a taste of the cool weather here in Sunny So. Cal. But it will be here before you know it.
And yes I do look forward to warm drinks and robes and a cozy fire in the fireplace all curled up on the couch next to the one you love!
I'm right there with you girlfriend!!!! FALL is by far my favorite season! I enjoyed this summer and probably spent more time outside this summer than most but I am summer'd out now and am loving this cool weather!!

It is 91 flippin' degrees here today!!! Big yuck. I'm so sick of summer and can't wait for fall. I love every single minute of it :)
Yes!! I am so in the mood for fall...I even got out my fall candles to make the moment even more enjoyable. I have the windows open and oh I am just loving it...now if I can only get this baby to sleep so I can get some stuff done!!
fall is my favorite for so many reasons. Enjoy the comfy cloths and the many cool nights to come.

jen i love the fall! its my absolute favorite season of the year! grant is getting sooooo BIG! i love his little camo shoes! Sounds like brooke is still the same fun girl.. (mouse pad story)they are all grown up now! you are looking good btw! i wish i can come see you sometime.. i am going to start saving up.. but hopefully the i get to go out there again with my church.. i am going to the philippines on Nov. 9th-19th! we are doing a childrens crusade there and our pastor is holding a massive mtg with all of our churches there (16 total) isn't that crazy!? love you! miss you! tell matt and the kids i said hi!
