Yesterday was my neice, Chantel's, 17th birthday. Our family (13 of us in all) started the day out with lunch at the Olive Garden. Then the girls and guys split up so us girls could go shopping and the guys could do whatever they wanted. We started out at the mall, stopped at Old Navy and Kohl's and ended with Target. We shopped for 8 straight hours without a single break! To most people this would probably sound exhausting---but those of you who know me know, this was totally my kind of day! As a matter of fact, it seems like the more I shop, the more I want to shop---which is why I was back at the mall again today to get a few things I forgot yesterday. After all this shopping, we ran through Sonic and picked up hamburgers and then picked up chips and queso from El Chico and went home and pigged out. It was a great day and Chantel if you read this, I want you to know how EXTREMELY proud of you I am. Yes for winning 1st place in the dance contest, but most of all for letting Jesus shine through you so brightly. You are an amazing girl and a wonderful role model. Thank you! I love you!
Okay, that's all for now....goodnight!
