II Chronicles 7:14

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Update for Logzie...

Teresa...can I still call you that? To me you will always be...Logzie. :o)

ANYWAY....thanks to HER, I realize that it has been TWO WEEKS since I have posted on this blog! Wow! Crazy!

I'm trying to think of what you've missed and I'm not coming up with too much! :o)
Tomorrow is the first day of school for the kids and I still can't believe that my "little girl" isn't in "elementary school" anymore. She's only going into 4th grade, but here that is at the "intermediate grade center" (4th, 5th and 6th grade). So from here on out (till they graduate from high school) my kids will always be in different schools. Kinda sad! Not only will they not have each other to lean on...but now I have to go to 2 different schools every morning and afternoon to drop them off/pick them up! Whaahh! :o)
Also tomorrow...my "little boy" is going to be in first grade...which means ALL DAY school!!! Yikes! Up until now, he's only gone to school for 2 1/2 hours per day (in pre-K and Kindergarten) so being there for 8 hours is going to be quite an adjustment for both of us! I'm sure we'll both do fine though! I know he'll enjoy having something to do all day and I will FOR SURE enjoy having 8 hours to actually get something done finally! :o)
On the agenda is 1) intense, deep house cleaning 2) back to a daily workout 3) more time in God's Word/prayer every day (15 min. a day is just not cutting it! :o) and 4) "power hour" each day focusing on my Beachbody business and how I can grow it.
I am still taking a major break from responsibility and am going to try with all my might not to get roped into being anyone's homeroom mom, PTO officer or head up any volunteer committee. I am also still "on break" from working at the church...although I have put in an application to start working with "The Storehouse" (a ministry we just started to provide food and clothes to needy families). That is something I can REALLY be passionate about and support full-heartedly. I hope I get contacted about being involved with that soon!
It's going to be an interesting year for us, full of changes. As of right now, my job with the doctors office is set to end sometime in September. As you know (if you're a faithful reader) that he's been telling me this for nearly a year now and it just keeps dragging on. But I am NOT COMPLAINING! This is the best job I could ever want or ask for and I dread the day when it does actually end...but I am also trying to prepare financially and mentally that unless something happens, it IS indeed going to end sooner or later. That will give me an extra hour or two a day freed up with which I am not sure what I will do. There are a million things I'd LIKE to do for that extra time...but I have a hunch that God has something waiting in the wings for me to do and so I refuse to over-analyze or over-think it. I am going to just continue to seek Him and His will for my life and keep myself renewed and ready for whatever He says, whenever! :o)

omg..there is a fly buzzing around my computer screen and my fingers right now that is about to drive me CRAZY! I can't seem to kill him. He's a big fat one too. Grrrrr....! I hate flies!!!

Anyway, on August 2nd, we celebrated my mom's 60th birthday and then this past Saturday we had a big party at our house for her! It was SO MUCH fun! I did a "shop till you drop" theme and we played my version of "The Price is Right"! After-wards I got the whole family up to do the Cha Cha Slide together and Matt videotaped it! It is SO CUTE and we had a blast! I love it when we are all actually DOING something together instead of sitting around 'shooting the breeze' and watching tv...all bored and acting like bumps on a log. I already have some ideas brewing for activities I'm going to do at our Christmas party this year! :o)

The last week of July, I took the kids to visit family and friends for a few days. It was great to get out of the house and just be random--doing whatever we felt whenever we felt like it. We got to see my brother and his family, all of Matt's family and my dear friend Amy. I canNOT believe I didn't think to get a pic of me and Amy together! boo!!!

Well..that's about it for now. I need to get off here and get the kids ready to go to Meet Your Teacher at the school! Love you guys! Thanks for reading about my oh-so-exciting (ha!) life!

I'm so proud of you for going "on break" from the volunteering. It's good for you and that new ministry you are considering sounds great. There's definately a need these days.
