II Chronicles 7:14

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Night Owl?

I cannot believe it is 12:29 right now and I am not even tired a little bitty bit. I have no idea what's going on with me...except for I did sleep till 9:30 this morning...so maybe that's it!?!? Who knows? All I know is that I am up past midnight for the 2nd night in a row and that's practically a miracle. Last night, obviously, was New Years Eve and I was at my buddy, Teya's house for a party...but tonight at 10:15 pm (after I watched Biggest Loser! Hooray!), I decided to do my big Wal-Mart trip. Matt and Grant were already in bed snoozing and Brooklyn was all comfy on the couch watching a movie and I knew the alternative would be to take both kids with me tomorrow and go...so I threw on my coat and off I went. It was SUCH a weird feeling though--leaving at night like that. Plus, I didn't bother to wake Matt up and tell him so it felt weird just leaving. I did tell Brooklyn, of course, where I was going but I don't know if she even heard me because she was very into her movie. I was almost kind of sad during the drive there...which seemed like forever in my quiet car (but is actually only 20 minutes). Anyway, once I got there it was wonderful! There were only a handful of cars in the parking lot so it felt like I had the whole place to myself practically. The only negaive was I had to try to maneuver around all the people who were stocking the shelves and when I got ready to get a can of paint mixed...there wasn't a worker in sight. I had to finally go to another department and have someone paged. I ended up buying a chocolate milk brown color for Brooklyn's walls. The color is called "Brownstone". I just painted one little wall in there so I can let it set overnight and dry and then see what it's really gonna look like in the morning before I do the whole thing. I am just a little worried that it's gonna make her room seem too dark and too small...but I know I love the color.
BTW...I am NOT having any success at getting the dog pee out of her carpet. I have shampooed the carpet, sprayed vinegar on it, scrubbed it and now I just dumped a box of baking soda on it. I have no idea if that will do any good...but the stuff is supposed to remove odors right? I figured it's worth a try. Anyhow, I will post a picture of her room once I get it all painted. Wish me luck since I am going to attempt to get her room completely all done tomorrow while at home by myself with both kids. Should be fun! ha ha. I'm half tempted to just stay up all night and paint since I am not tired...but I know I'd be paying for it all day tomorrow if I did.
So, I hope you all had a good first day of 2008!?!

Wasn't Biggest Loser Good? Stephen and I watched it...I could not be married to such a wuss as Neil. Every time Jillian was screaming at him to get up, I was like "oh no, I would have to hurt him!"

I can't wait to see Brooklyn's room, that color sounds perfect!

We stayed home with the kids on New Years Eve (Stephen had to work until 8pm), then we all went to bed at 10pm! haha So we slept in the new year. Check out my blog, for details on what all we did yesterday. :)

Glad you got all that shopping done and some peace and quiet. Did M ever wake up and wonder where you were? lol.

Can't wait to see the paint!

I know, those stores are so dead at night like that but then there's those pesky stockers!

(pesky...haven't heard that word since watching Scooby Doo as a child!) LOL!

I hope you end up liking the brown...I love it in Ella's room and I am contemplating putting it in my living room in my new house. I can't wait for the pictures!
