II Chronicles 7:14

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Hooray! Matt got his first deer! This was his first time to shoot his bow (at an animal and not a target) and he got one! Good Job Babe!!!

Wow, great job Matt! And how great that the deer is "sticking" out his tongue in the picture. Although I am a little confused, isn't camo for duck hunting. And you wear orange while deer hunting because deer can't see orange and that way you can see your hunting partners? Hmmm, I have to ask my hubby about that one. Looks like you'll be cooking up a vension storm huh! Vension jerky is actually the best!

Congratulations Matt!! Way to go and on your first try...Wow!!

I do not like meat from other animals than cows, pigs, and chickens and well now that I actually wrote that...it too is grossing me out. Gosh I am funny about food. Ugh...

I think if I thought long and hard enough about it...I could become a vegetarian. I just chose not to think about it. Ha!

Good for him. That's a nice buck for a first one (or second or third). Amos - orange is for gun season so the drunk hunters don't shoot you. There is much less danger and drinking in bow season.

Jen - are you keeping the meat? I can't eat it personally. Makes for one upset digestive system. It tastes pretty good though and is a really healthy meat.

Yep, found out I know nothing about bow hunting. Didn't think you wore camo for that, but learned tonight from a friend you do just that. Well Golly!
