II Chronicles 7:14

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

New Shoes! Matt's grandma, Nane, gives us each a $50 dollar bill in our stockings at Christmas. I have been wanting some shoes forEVER but haven't had the extra cash...so now thanks to her...I got to finally get my shoes! They are a little funky compared to what I usually wear...but my friend Teya is helping me figure out what is cool now. Thanks Nane and thanks Teya! Do you like them? Posted by Picasa

I have a pair of those in a different color and I love them! They are the best shoes I ever had. I like that they make my feet not look so wide like other tennis shoes do. Ben thinks I look like a cross country runner in them but I don't care, they are great.

Oooh, Jen. I LOVE those shoes! Funny that you say that Teya is helping you figure out what is cool now. I had the same kind of discussion with my friend Amy G about what kind of jeans to buy. I bought 2 pair recently...one like I normally would buy and one more trendy pair. She says the ones I normally wear make my butt look droopy and that they look like "mom" jeans. And I'm not even a mom! :) Thank goodness for friends who tell you what looks good on you. :) Wish you and I could go shopping! Love ya!

I have tried posting this comment 3 times now...and it hasn't worked. I hope all 3 don't pop up at once now!! UGH!! :0)

But anyway, I JUST bought those SAME shoes this week with my husband's giftcard. Mine are BROWN though. We have great taste!

Cute Shoes! My mother has a pair like that in brown, and loves them!
I have a friend who has trouble with "fashion". She takes me shopping with her, and I love helping her find a cute "new look".
It is fun, helping someone discover that we may be Moms but we dont have to be "frumpy".
We are HOT MOMMAS! :)
Love ya girl,
Kandy

jen, I bought a pair of shoes with my 50$ also. Actually, my job gives a voucher each year to buy a pair of steel-toe shoes. I used the voucher on a pair of boots and the guy cut me a deal for 37$ on the second pair. how cool. your bros.-in-law
