II Chronicles 7:14

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

My Materialistic Christmas Wish List

Okay, I know if I was a "really good person", I would not wish for things...I would wish for peace and joy and good will to all...or something like that...and I do have a few non-materialistic things on my wish-list...but first of all...here's the stuff I wish somebody would buy me:
1) Good paint brushes (fine point)
2) A coat for work/play. (all I have now are dressy coats)
3) Some funky tennis shoes (not to wear to the gym...just for casual wear)
4) My very own tape measure (magnetic preferably so I can stick it on the fridge where little hands can't reach)
5) A Good skillet (*note: cannot buy at Dollar General or for less than $20)
6) A gift certificate for tanning.
and now for a few things money can't buy:
7) I wish for obedient, self-cleaning children.
8) I wish for 1 night a month all to myself to do whatever I want-no kids-no guilt.
9) I wish to have 1 date-night a month with my hubby that HE plans.
10) I wish to be reminded daily of all that I already have!

So....what do you wish for?

I want world peace....:)

Or swirled peas...which ever is easier!!!!

You need to try scrapbooking once a month, it gets you away and helps you to remember your kids good traits...at least that is what it does for me because in the pics, I cannot see them disobeying! :)

Merry Christmas, Jen!

Hmmm...

There is a certain pair of Sketcher tennis shoes that I really want but they are like $50.

The gifts I love are gift certificates to like Kohl's, Hobby Lobby (scrapbooking supplies) or Victoria's Secret or something like that.

Hope your wishes come true!!

I'm with you on that tanning thing...I was just thinking that last night...how white I am! I hate it...I wish I'd work out, but that's something I can only make come true...I wish my hunny would work out with me...now that's a wish!

My wish is that: I would like people to think about something other than themselves and getting stuff.

Merry Christmas!!!

Mojonah...yes...lets meet somewhere and do something together. Do you own an airplane? ha ha And yes..I know...the date night once a month that hubby plans is only a DREAM...if it actually happened, I'd probably faint. hee hee
Guru...Hey...swirled peas--I can handle that! ha ha Thanks for the idea about scrapbooking more often. You're right...in the pictures..they look like little angels! I'll have to try that! Maybe Amos can initiate me into that whole scrapbooking-world you girls all live in...?!
Logzie, I hope you get your shoes and VS gift card!
