II Chronicles 7:14

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

It's not fair...

Not only does Grant not want to take naps anymore, he is also resisting bedtime here lately. His newest thing is to tell me over and over, "It's not fair." As a matter of fact, he is laying in his crib right now crying saying "Mommy, it's not fair, it's not fair!" If I go in there and try to comfort him, he just elaborates on the un-fairness of this situation: "It's not fair I hab to go bed. I can't deal wit it. I wanna go lay couch, watch TB (TV). It's not fair I can't get out." It's so darn cute, I have a hard time sticking to my guns. I'd much rather just scoop him up and take him to the couch where I can cuddle with him in my arms and watch tv together...but I know that will only start something I'll have to "fix" later.
okay...he's actually SCREAMING "MOM-EEEEEEEEEEE!!" now...so I guess I better get up and go check on him. Suggestions anyone?

Let him scream and go in the other room. It's hard to listen too, but after a while he will learn that you aren't coming unless there is blood! And he will eventually entertain himself to sleep. Hard to do, but worth the effort in the end.
