II Chronicles 7:14

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Aughhhh....I am getting old!

Okay, tomorrow I will be turning 27. I am a HUGE fan of birthdays and love to have big parties to celebrate them...but this is all starting to change as I get older. I have finally hit the "bump in the road" that makes me start thinking that birthdays could actually be a bad thing. Don't get me wrong, I still love to party--but I could do without the getting older part. Being three years from thirty just freaks me out. I'm sorry to those of you who have already achieved that distinguished age, but for me--thirty just sounds OLD! Like when your in your 20's, people excuse the dumb things you do by saying, "Oh your still young--everyone makes mistakes when they're young." But once you hit thirty, people start holding you accountable for your actions and expect you to actually act grown up. Ugh! No thanks! And even worse than acting thirty--is looking thirty! I still think I look about 20...but then, I live in my own little world and prefer not to face reality when it comes to things like this--so who really knows? Anyway, this year my birthday is gonna be weird because this will be the first time in 27 years that I will be celebrating it without my mom. She is in California for the next 8 days--where she should be--helping out my grandma and uncle, but I will miss her. It just doesn't seem right to celebrate without her. She is the one who makes it a point to make the day special for me. Anyway, I am beginning to think I sound like a crybaby so I better end this post! Have a good night and think of me tomorrow!

Jenni,
Hope your day was special yesterday. Trust me, I know all about it feeling weird cause your family's not around! It's weird, but it just makes you appreciate them even more when you DO get to see them.
Hope your day was great and that Matt made your day special.
Love and miss you my "old" friend!
Ha!ha!

P.S. Thank you so much for my coasters! I LOVE them! They look exactly like something I would have bought myself. :)
