II Chronicles 7:14

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

My "Tingle" tanning experience...my buns are burnin'

Okay, if you are not a person who "fake-bakes" then you will definitely not know what I am talking about here...but if you are, then you have probably been introduced to what is commonly referred to in the tanning bed biz as tingle-lotion. You start by rubbing it all over your body just before tanning and you take a minute to enjoy the terrific tropical scent. THEN, about midway through your relaxing tan, you will start to wonder if you have just stepped into the fiery furnace. All of a sudden, it feels as if your body is being lit on fire and you have just gotten the worst sunburn of your life. At this point, you will probably rush to get out of the bed and run over to the mirror and to your horror, you will find that your body has now become a dark maroon color. Thankfully the extreme heat and redness only last for about an hour and then you are left with a really great tan. In any case, if you haven't used this kind of lotion yet, let this serve as your WARNING that you will hate it and no amount of tan is worth this miserable feeling. As for me, I am probably going to use it a couple more times because I paid $7.25 for a sample of this lotion called Smolder (hmmm....how appropriate) and I WILL NOT let my money go to waste---even if it does remind me of why I don't want to go to hell everytime I use it!
goodnight!

You are a riot,
That was a really funny story. I know it was not funny to you when you did it. I have not heard of that stuff but, It is very funny how you tell the story and then say you will use it again to get your moneys worth. I love you Doug

Jen, I was going through your old posts, looking for the pics of your pool. I found this post, and I can't believe I had never read it before! I laughed and laughed!
I have used the lotions (I used to run my aunt's tanning salon). Some are a lot worse than others. But I know that tingly burning feeling you are talking about. I always liked it though. :) I know, I must have issues! haha

Love ya girl,
Kandy
