II Chronicles 7:14

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Going to the chapel...and they got married!

What a fun weekend we had. Matt's little brother, Cale, and his girlfriend, Lindsay, tied the knot on Saturday. They are such a cute couple! Friday night was the rehersal and we got to keep Cale's little boy, Jaxon, overnight with us. Then Saturday morning we got up and went to Golden Corral for breakfast and then back to the hotel to start getting ready. The wedding was beautiful. The slide show of pictures of them from babies to current was my favorite part. Then after the wedding, we hung around for pictures. Matt was a groomsman and Brooklyn was the ring bearer's accompaniment so they were both in the wedding party. It was pretty humerous watching Brooklyn after about the 5th picture. She would go up and sit (not stand) on the stage, make her hands into fists and put them up under chin with a big scowl on her face. Normally she loves to have her picture taken and is a big ham....but this was one time she was not the "main attraction" (the bride was) and she wasn't too thrilled about it. Eventually, I had to bribe her by telling her I would take her to Wal-Mart and let her pick out whatever she wants if she will just PLEASE stand up there and smile. All in all, she did very well. We had a lot of people comment on how well she did during the ceremony. We were very proud of her. She's really growing up!
After that, we went to the Butterfield Ballroom for the reception. I paid $5 to dance with the groom and then danced to a few songs with my hunky hubby. (Boy does he look GOOD in a tux!) Nana danced Grant to sleep and Brooklyn had a great time "dancing" all over the dance floor with all the other kids. It was a wonderful weekend and we wish Cale and Lindsay the best! We love you guys!
